Drogh Vraane

The Centenary Centre’s new community theatre group, Sollan, presents ‘Drogh Vraane’. The evening will include the first performance of ‘Forgiven’, a new play about the life of ‘notorious strumpet’ Catherine Kinrade, an interval with seasonal refreshments, and the first performance of Manx language folk musical ‘Drogh Vraane’ inspired by the story of Ann Thompson, who was sentenced to transportation from Castle Rushen gaol to Botany Bay for stealing a piece of lace. Expect atmospheric drama, strong storytelling and good tunes!
