The Theatre Architect

Manx National Theatre is proud to present the world premiere of a spectacular new musical - The Theatre Architect.

Boasting 13 sparkling new original songs - echoing large scale West-End-style musical numbers and opera; sitting alongside both uplifting and heart-breaking solos and duets. The Theatre Architect tells a true story of love and passion, based on Britain’s most successful theatre architect - Frank Matcham - Designer of the Isle of Man’s very own “Jewel in the Crown” - The beautiful Gaiety Theatre and Opera House.
